A full day devoted to one piano. For an upright or grand that needs more than tuning, I work on the changes that will make the greatest difference to its touch, tone and reliability.

One piano. Time to do the work properly.
A Service Day is typically six to seven hours on site. I examine the instrument, agree priorities with you and spend the day on the work it needs most. We’ll agree the priorities in advance, so the day is spent on the work that will make the biggest difference to how your piano plays.
- Tuning and pitch work, where appropriate.
- Action regulation and uneven touch.
- Key and action friction, sticking notes and minor repairs.
- Pedals, dampers and response.
- Hammer work, voicing and tonal balance where suitable.
- Mechanical cleaning and lubrication where needed.
A defined visit
From £600, with priorities agreed in advance.
